Photograph by Takuya Yamaguchi, Kameoka, Japan, February 2019.
My visual style is characterized by its bold (out)lines and flatness, inspired by manga, anime and ukiyo-e. The human figure often appears in my drawings and paintings.
I work on paper with mixed media: aquarel, gouache, ecoline, acrylic paint, markers and pencils. My interest in Japan and Japanese visual culture is reflected in my work.
